Syria

Foundation date: 1995

Situated in the very heart of Damascus, L’Arche Alsafina is a local beacon of hope, offering each member –without or with an intellectual disability- the opportunity to develop the practical and heart skills needed to confidently express their unique gifts, and sense of purpose in life.

The shared way of life it offers, and the workshops which bring out the manual dexterity and creativity of each person mean the community is a much-valued support for local families with disabled members.
