Some communities around the world welcome international volunteers. Most communities ask for an initial one-year commitment, offering a unique opportunity for personal growth, meaningful relationships, and a truly life-changing experience.
Where can I volunteer?
With L’Arche communities all over the world, and with application processes varying from country to country, we know that it can be challenging for volunteer candidates to know where to begin.
Certain countries such as Canada, the USA, the UK, France and Australia have many local communities and recruit volunteers directly. Please visit their websites to apply. At L’Arche International, we recruit and support volunteers in countries without a national office.
