Contact our TeamFrance, where the first L’Arche community was born in 1964, has the largest number of communities. These are grouped together in a national federation and are scattered throughout the country, in towns and rural areas. Several of them have workshops adapted to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities. Supported by a large network of friends, the communities work towards the integration of members with a disability into French society through a community life that is open to their environment and respects the autonomy of each person.

The purpose of the gathering was very simple: celebration! As a rule, L’Arche doesn’t need much reason to celebrate- having fun together has always been an important part of daily community life...
