The European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) organises an international conference in Rome on February 14th and 15th. The conference aims to facilitate the implementation of the UN Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities. The Convention has been adopted in December 2006 and is open for signature since March 2007.

The seminar will look in particular at legislation and legal frameworks in order to build up the right kind of support systems for disabled people to be included and participate fully in society.
