Books by Jean Vanier

Jean Vanier has written numerous books, best know in English are perhaps Becoming Human (his 1998 CBC Massey Lectures), which has been widely read by a secular audience in North America, and Finding Peace, written in response to the attacks of September 11th, 2001. These were followed by other books addressing themes related to peace-making: Befriending the Stranger, Welcoming “the Other.” Jean Vanier’s books have been translated into 29 languages.
